Happy Friday everybody! Found this lovely new range of solid oak products by Hop and Peck waiting for me in my inbox this morning. They're all made from wood from sustainable sources so they're not only gorgeous, they're kind to the earth too. I love the wooden toys - the elephant is my favourite but The Toddler would without a doubt love the racing car! More here - grown up stuff too :-). Have a great weekend!

Kids Collection by L’Affiche Moderne
If you're looking for fabulous and affordable artwork for kids, then you have to have head over to L’Affiche Moderne's website. They're a French online gallery selling work by young photographers, graphic designers and children's illustrators, and their prints are strictly limited to 300 editions.
I was lucky enough to win the Mr and Ms Bear prints in the recent Bloesem/L’Affiche Moderne giveaway (read more here) and the timing is perfect - we're planning to get The Toddler a bed soon (gulp), so the prints are going to look fab in his 'new' bedroom! Thanks again Bloesem and L’Affiche Moderne :-)
Click here to see more artwork from L’Affiche Moderne, and see below for a few other prints from the Kids Collection that I love!

I heart coffee
We start off every day in the Hello Olive household with a lovely frothy coffee (it's what gets me out of bed in the mornings!). We've accumulated quite a few Bialetti coffee pots over the years, but I'd also love to collect a few vintage coffee pots too. Loving these ones found on Etsy today.

I love snail mail
I really do! When I was a kid I had loads of penpals and just about stalked the poor postman whilst waiting for letters from around the world. So this competition and snail mail incentive by Newspaper Taxi is just my kind of thing. Read below or click here for more details.

Alphabet totes
It was a rainy day here today so I braved the weather to pick up some yummy snacks for us to enjoy while we pottered about the house. Unfortunately I didn't bring my shopping home in totes as cool as these ones by Alphabet Bags! See more here and here.

My wishlist
Just a few of the things on my wishlist at the moment :-) I have wanted a round cushion (not sure why!) for ages now and I think I may just have to get this round Fox Cushion by Solitaire!
I'm also rather desperate to get a dishwasher! I used to quite like handwashing dishes but we had one in our previous kitchen and I've been ruined forever! So Darling Husband, if you're reading this, I'll have this gorgeous Retro Style dishwasher by Smeg please :-)
And finally (since I'm on such a roll), I'd like some sunglasses too :-) Mine broke a few months ago and I haven't had a chance to replace them. I really like these handcrafted Wooden Faced Sunglasses by Tumbleweeds Oddities but I'm not sure the style would suit me. And that's that - for this week anyway :-) Have a lovely weekend everybody!

omg, I won Mr and Ms Bear!!!
I've been feeling rather blue today (nothing serious, just good ol' hormones) until about 2 minutes ago when I discovered that I've won the Mr and Ms Bear prints by Allirol Mélusine in the Bloesem Kids giveaway! I can't tell you how excited I am and needless to say I'm not feeling so blue anymore :-) These are going to look fabulous in The Toddler's room :-) Huge thanks to Bloesem and L'Affiche Moderne - this has really made my day!
